Our annual report for the financial year 1st February 2025 – 31st January 2026 is now available!
Some of the key highlights from the year include:
- 9,967 counselling sessions were delivered in total across our service – our highest ever number
- 643 people were seen by us during the year, 460 of which were new to our service
- 52% of people were signposted towards our service by NHS staff
- A milestone of over 100 volunteer counsellors was reached
- Our fourth counselling centre opened in Lydney in September 2025, offering our core counselling service and a parallel community outreach initiative
- 41 students completed one of our CPCAB-accredited training courses (Listening Skills, Foundation & Diploma in Counselling)
- 75.1% of people experienced improvements in symptoms of depression post-counselling
- 72.5% of people experienced improvements in symptoms of anxiety post-counselling
- 77% of people felt more positive about themselves after receiving counselling
